A word from the Lord:
The Father’s desire is that we prepare the bride for her Groom; that we teach her how to give Him room, how to push aside the dross, and count all else loss for unity and intimacy with her Bridegroom. He’s the lover of her soul, her beloved, the One without whom her world would cease to spin, the One with whom she overcomes in everything.
The nurturing of such dependence, such utter obsession, is the bride’s best preparation. All else must be pushed out and removed from the throne, except Christ and Christ alone, for the Bridegroom must come. It is the Father’s good pleasure to reveal the kingdom through the beautification of Christ’s bride, His radiant one.
“Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ”
Philippians 3:8 (ESV)
