An inspired poem:
Keep your posture low
Remain one of My own
For the lower your posture
The closer you are to My throne
Seated with Me you surely are
But useful to Me you can only be
As you remain close to ‘the least of these’
As a Servant King My example illustrates these things
Equipping for reigning
Comes through servanthood and sacrifice
The sacrifice of self-elevation
Choose to give Me and Mine the primary place
Rather than self-focus and self-appointed priorities
As those bought with a price the only path worthy of Me
Is the one I chose: humility
The stewardship of what is to come
Can only be done through humility
And complete dependence upon Me
Pride will only lead to falling
Falling away from Me, My path and My calling
But humility maintains connection, provision and protection
From the wrath brought about by self-elevation
“And whoever desires to be first among you must be your slave—just as the Son of Man came not to be waited on but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many [the price paid to set them free].”
