An encouragement from the lord:
Pearls require patience and a humble heart posture, recognising the wisdom of the process. The secretion of love, faith and trust coats what the enemy meant for harm and loss. It transforms an irritation into an object of beauty, a rare treasure valued into eternity: the purified, passed-through-fire, greatly-valued-by-the-Father, humbled human heart. Where the heart is, there too is your treasure.
Allow Me to purify and make perfect My home, so that we can truly abide as husband and wife together. You, beautifully adorned, without spot, blemish or flaw. A process perfected through suffering correctly and patiently endured, until the trumpet sounds and I appear to take you home again. Until then, we have a job to do and your heart is the task in hand, being moulded through humble submission to My divine plan.
“For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!], since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.”
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (AMPC)
