A vision:
I saw a small light. It could have been a single candle flame or a small oil lamp. There were several people around it and it was pitch black all around. I knew it belonged to one person. It was their light and they were holding it. Then I saw there were several other similar lights off in different directions.
– At first when I saw the flame and the size of it I thought, That’s not going to do very much. But in darkness like this it shone for miles and people came, not because of its size, but because it was light.
“Do all things without grumbling and faultfinding and complaining [against God] and questioning and doubting [among yourselves], that you may show yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish (faultless, unrebukable) in the midst of a crooked and wicked generation [spiritually perverted and perverse], among whom you are seen as bright lights (stars or beacons shining out clearly) in the [dark] world, holding out [to it] and offering [to all men] the Word of Life…”
Philippians 2:14-16 (AMPC)
