A vision and word of wisdom from the Lord:
I saw a forest cleared of trees.
“The deforestation of the human soul (which occurs when life is fundamentally lived outside the home) leads to a clinical approach to the whole. Where the wisdom of elders is not imparted, but falls to the ground unheard, unwanted, and the saplings are ripped away and placed in their age appropriate institutions.
However, God’s way is ‘reforestation’, bringing the generations together again, so the plantings of the Lord bring glory to Him. So they can drink of the wisdom handed down through the ages. The rain of wisdom’s voice falling around the young roots, so they can grow, their youthfulness renewing the youth of the older ones too.”
“My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not your mother’s teaching.
Bind them on your heart always; tie them around your neck.
When you walk, they will lead you; when you lie down, they will watch over you; and when you awake, they will talk with you.
For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life…”
