A vision and word of wisdom from the Lord:
I saw the trunk of a mighty oak tree. Alongside it was a tiny sapling, growing at its root.
“The generational cooperation required to see the promise birthed is not unique but speaks of a path of blessing, blood-bought and long fought.
The impartation of blessing from one generation to the next requires connection and transparency, a unity and oneness that reveals the Trinity.
Our enemy despises this generational connection. He is hell bent on undermining it at every turn. And so the world’s system is driven by a segregational mentality, each generation being held in its specific institution.
But the Kingdom of Heaven is a glorious combination of every generation: the young ones brightening the hearts of the older ones and the youths fighting alongside their elders.
All of life’s circle revolves around Me, the preserver of life and truth, the maker of heaven and earth, the universe of the mature and the youth.”
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor…
…to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.
They shall build up the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.”
Isaiah 61:1,3-4 (ESV)
