The vision and word which inspired us to start the Daily Dose:
I saw a stormy sea and grey sky. There was a lighthouse to the left and a bright light was rising on the horizon. We were standing on the rock throwing lines out into a swamp.
“Pull out all the stops, for those standing on the rock have a vantage point far over and above those wallowing in the mud. The life lines from the Divine, cast out over the mire, will bring back those whose hearts have tired, those who no longer carry or perceive the fire.
Draw them back to the Rock, the Divine Revelation, the far over and above. Pull them back from the brink of what they’ve been told they ought to think. Until My justice and mercy floods the land. Until My Bride is ready to stand. Clothed in glory as she was intended to be, standing next to her betrothed for all eternity.”
“And it will be said: “Build up, build up, prepare the road! Remove the obstacles out of the way of my people.”
For this is what the high and exalted One says— he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.
I will not accuse them forever, nor will I always be angry, for then they would faint away because of me— the very people I have created.
I was enraged by their sinful greed; I punished them, and hid my face in anger, yet they kept on in their willful ways.
I have seen their ways, but I will heal them; I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners, creating praise on their lips. Peace, peace, to those far and near,”
says the Lord. “And I will heal them.”But the wicked are like the tossing sea, which cannot rest, whose waves cast up mire and mud.”
Isaiah 57:14-20 (NIV)
