An encouragement from the Lord:
In a vision I saw myself and others in the sea with sizeable waves rolling through. I believe the waves were the challenges we have to deal with on a daily basis. We were bobbing on the surface and I noticed how buoyant and at rest we were.
Then I perceived the love of God surrounding each one of us like a life ring.
When Peter walked on the water towards Jesus he began to sink and was at risk of drowning because he took his eyes off Jesus and, looking around at the wind and waves, let fear in. But Love keeps us buoyant because it casts out fear.
buoyant
: able to float
: happy, confident, light-hearted
“God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.
In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.
There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror!”
